Spring is on the way, and here at Capt'n Frank's we are powering up for the 2019 season, and looking forward to your visits. Starting this coming week 3/12/19, we will be open 5 days a week, Tuesday thru Saturday from 10:30 am - 3pm...! Come see our staff and the smiling faces who really do enjoy serving you and some of the best food to be found anywhere. To all our friends, We are proud and thrilled to introduce the newest member of the Capt'n Frank's Family... Harvey Kendall Hess IV, born 2/16/19. Mother, father, baby and family are on cloud 9...! Great day fishing with My son ( Harvey III ), family and friend, on the "Fintastic", Capt'n Dickie Harris and mate Jack Graham put us on the fish. Limit of Kings and 17 tuna......it just doesn't get much better....! A day like this is why we work so hard in the summer.... And no, we are not serving any tuna dogs....

So delighted to share a wonderful announcement.... Harvey III, and his wife, our awesome daughter in law, Molly, are having a baby boy.....! Our entire family, on both sides, are thrilled to share this....we will keep all of our Capt'n Franks family updated..... CF

Thanks to all our friends who have sent us texts, notes and thoughts. We were lucky this time, unlike our friends and neighbors go the south. Please do anything you can to help out with their recovery.... CF We plan to open Monday 10:30 am.....come see us.... Be safe...!

School had started and fall is on its way, and today, our first customer was one known to all. Yes my friends, Santa loves hot dogs too! So, while taking a little beach break from his workshop, he came for a dog and a visit.....remember in December, that Santa loves hot dogs as much as cookies....! You come visit us too, Monday thru Saturday, 10:30 am until 3 pm .... And this time of year, we take a break on Sundays... Merry September! Capt'n Frank

Hey friends and family! Just a note to let you know that our summer evening hours are over😥. Many of our great summer staff are heading back to schools all over Currently we are open 7 days a week from 10:30 am until 3 pm. After Labor Day weekend, we will be here for you Monday thru Saturday, closed Sundays; same time, same place for now 44 seasons...! The fall is a wonderful time on the Outer Banks, and we want to see, and since it is less hectic, have more time to chat with you..... thanks for visiting; please come and bring your smiles often. Just sharing a pic of a hand-carved statue of a Capt'n Frank hot dog given us yesterday from a fan and great customer and his son..... It will settle in to an honored place in the restaurant. In thinking about it, if any of you "artist" out there have an idea to help us start a collection, get your carving tools, paint brushes, clay, or other medium and start making a Capt'n Frank's hot dog for our future collection..... What a great week at the beach! So many families together and having fun. We have had the good fortune to see and serve a whole bunch of them. Our pleasure...! When it comes to food pairings, there are no limits, as the North Beach Sun showed in their latest issue....food is fun, and if you like it, who's to say otherwise. Have a great day...! CF
